26 September, 2026

On September 26, 2026, Titan Polymer successfully conducted its 2026 Periodic Fire Prevention, Firefighting and Rescue Drill, with the participation of all employees.

The drill was organized to enhance employees’ awareness, knowledge, and emergency response skills, while also assessing their ability to coordinate and respond promptly to fire, explosion, and other emergency situations requiring rescue and assistance.

Given the specific characteristics of the plastic compound manufacturing industry, Titan Polymer’s Management places great emphasis on Fire Prevention, Firefighting and Rescue (FPR & R), considering it an important part of the Company’s production and operational activities. This commitment also contributes to maintaining a safe working environment and meeting the safety requirements of customers and relevant stakeholders.

🎯 Key Objectives of the Fire Safety Drill

  • System Inspection: Evaluate the actual operating condition of the automatic fire alarm system, fire-fighting pump system, wall-mounted fire hydrant system, and on-site fire protection equipment.
  • Enhancing Personnel Competence: Strengthen employees’ ability to respond quickly, improve their skills in using personal protective equipment (PPE), and enhance firefighting techniques for the Company’s in-house Fire Safety Team.
  • Strengthening Coordination: Improve and standardize the coordination procedures among Production, Warehouse & Logistics, Engineering, and Medical teams in responding to emergency situations.

📚 Phase 1: Theoretical Training & Safety Awareness

Before the practical drill, all employees received training on Fire Prevention, Firefighting and Rescue (FPR & R), including lessons from fire and explosion incidents in 2025 and selected incidents at industrial parks in Phu Tho Province.

Key topics included:

  • Hazard Awareness: Identifying potential ignition sources and fire characteristics of polymers and plastic compounds.
  • Prevention Measures: Controlling static electricity, maintaining proper ventilation, and monitoring electrical loads.
  • Emergency Response: Understanding alarm procedures and the plant’s emergency evacuation routes.

🚒 Phase 2: Practical Fire Safety Drill

Following the theoretical training, all employees participated in a practical drill conducted in the Company’s designated outdoor area based on a simulated emergency scenario.

Titan Polymer’s in-house Fire Safety Team promptly implemented initial response measures, including cutting off the power supply, using portable fire extinguishers, deploying wall-mounted fire hoses, and coordinating with a specialized fire truck to control the fire and prevent it from spreading.

At the same time, employees carried out evacuation, rescue procedures, and safely assembled at the designated area.

The drill was conducted seriously, safely, and effectively, helping enhance employees’ emergency response skills and the coordination capabilities of relevant teams.

The drill was conducted successfully. The professional attitude, proactive spirit, and flexible response of all employees received high recognition from the Fire Safety Specialist and the Company’s Management.

This activity demonstrates Titan Polymer’s proactive approach to safety and readiness to respond to emergency situations, contributing to safe and stable plant operations. It also reflects Titan Polymer’s commitment to maintaining stable production, meeting customers’ quality and delivery requirements, and strengthening customer confidence.
